½ lb. butter
1 ½ cups sugar
4 eggs
2 ½ cups flour
½ tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/3 cup milk
1 lb. berries
Cream butter - add sugar slowly, add eggs 1 at a time - add flour and milk alternately - add cherries dredged in ½ cup of the flour.
Bake at 300F, for 1 ¾ hour to 2 hours
