Sour Cream Gingerbread


Beat together:

2 eggs

½ cup sour cream

½ cup molasses

½ cup brown sugar


Sift and stir into first mixture:

1 ½ cups pastry or cake flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp ginger

¼ tsp salt


Add ½ cup melted butter. Beat well, pour into a buttered 8" or 9" square pan.


Bake at 350F, for 30 minutes
